The Academies at Jonesboro High School issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.
Drama and history classes at JHS were excited to welcome The History Show performed by TheatreSquared from Fayetteville recently. The premise of the show? Actors cover the world’s history from the year 1000 to present time in 45 minutes! Students get a chance to experience the performance coupled with talkbacks and workshops. All tours are provided at no cost to schools through generous support from Simmons Foods, the Windgate Foundation, and the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts. #CaneClassroom
