The Academies at Jonesboro High School issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy is a Nationally Recognized award which is presented to selected students who have earned proficiency levels in BOTH the English language and another language and through an application process. All five of our winners received it for English and Spanish. Congratulations to our winners:

Jacqueline Martines (BCAL)

Dayana Diaz (HHS)

Jocelynn Bowen (STEM)

Students who earn this Seal have an official certificate as well as inclusion of the award on their Official High School Transcripts which can be used on college and job applications!!
