Brad Noel, the District 1 member of the Craighead County Quorum Court, secured 46% of the vote in this month's three-way primary for the Republican Party nomination for the District 1 seat. However, he fell short of the required 50% threshold to bypass a runoff. Noel, who has been a part of the Quorum Court since 2012, is set to compete against Andrew Stricklin in a runoff election scheduled for April 2.

The Jonesboro Sun reported that upon announcing his re-election campaign, Noel expressed his gratitude and dedication towards serving Craighead County. "I’m honored to serve the people of Craighead County on the Public Service Committee. I want to continue to be a voice. Being a Justice of the Peace helps me give back to the community. It’s amazing how much this county has grown and knowing that I have been a part of that is humbling and rewarding," said Noel. Apart from his political career, Noel is also an established real estate broker and investor who owns his own company.

As stated by The Jonesboro Sun, Noel is running for re-election as a Republican candidate. In the March 5 primary election, he received 46% of votes while his competitors Andrew Stricklin and Paul House garnered 30% and 24%, respectively. The runoff between Noel and Stricklin will determine who will face Democrat Jolene Mullet in November's general election.

If successful in his re-election bid, The Jonesboro Sun reports that Noel will embark on his fourth term as Justice of the Peace for Craighead County. His journey with Craighead County Quorum Court began with his first election in 2012.

The Quorum Court comprises thirteen Justices of Peace each representing a district within Craighead County. Among its responsibilities are adopting county ordinances and appropriating funds, determining compensation for county officers, levying taxes, and filling county office vacancies.

The total operating budget adopted for Craighead County in 2022 was $18,735,925.72.
