Elms Earns Conference Recognition-Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 11-16-22
CRC Lady Pioneer Volleyball concluded their season earlier this month with a win against University Health Sciences and Pharmacy on November the 5th, 2022 ending their season on a high with a 3-0 win streak. With the 2022 season now behind the Lady Pioneers as they look to build for 2023, Emi Elms was recognized for her efforts on the court for the 2022 season.
The Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) released the All- Conference awards last week and Crowley's Ridge had one Pioneer land on the list. Junior Emi Elms, the Paragould, Arkansas native, was awarded with the honor of Second Team All Conference for her efforts on the court. Elms ended the season with 182 kills averaging 1.75 kills per set with a .130 hitting percentage. The Junior was a force to be reckoned with at the net as she totalled 79 blocks on the season with 50 of these being solo stuffs. The middle blocker broke double digits in kills four times this year with her season high (12) being against Rust College (Mississippi) on 10-18-22. Elms now has a career total of 525 kills, averaging 1.95 kills per set with a .140 hitting percentage. She has recorded 167 blocks with 95 being solos over three seasons.
