Business spotlight is Ervin Enterprise. It originally started out as Caraway Cleaners, a dry cleaner, that was established in 1968 by Kenneth and Roberta Ervin. The first customer of Caraway Cleaners was the Caraway High School, with Superintendent Doby Land at the time. They washed the towels for the basketball teams, which is how the rental business started. The name then changed to Caraway Rentals and is now Ervin Enterprise. It is owned and operated by Judy and Larry Ervin now. They rent out door mats, dust mops, towels, aprons, and sell Terry Cloth Rags. The soda machines arrived with Caraway Rentals and is still a big hit at Ervin Enterprise. They thank their soda customers for all the support over the years! Judy and Larry moved to Caraway after Larry served in the military. They have raised two children here in the community together with their friends, family, and neighbors. They know most everyone in town and are widely known as well. The Ervin’s would like to thank the host of family members who have worked alongside them over the years. They most enjoy being a part of the community because it so close- knit. People reach out to ask how you are doing and say many prayers. They both look forward to many more years serving their customers and the community. Thank you Ervin Enterprise for serving our town!
