The Academies at Jonesboro High School issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
Open the Roof! Congratulations to our #CaneBand! The Arkansas All-State Band and Jazz Band audition judging was this past weekend, and students from Jonesboro earned 32 positions in the All-State Bands! These results are the highest number we've had in many years and double our Pre-COVID numbers!
For the second year in a row, we have the overall 3rd highest number of students to make All-State in all of Arkansas! Additionally, this year, we have the 2nd highest number of students in the All-State Jazz Bands and the Wind Symphony! #CaneOTR #CaneClassroom
