City of Jonesboro issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.
A free veterans legal clinic was held at the E. Boone Watson Community Center as a collaborative effort with the Memphis VAMC Veterans Justice Outreach Program, City of Jonesboro Grants and Community Development, and the ASU Beck/PRIDE Center. Six attorneys were on hand to help ten veterans in attendance with matters such as personal injury, family law, estate planning, expungements/criminal defense, and landlord/tenant issues.
