Crowley's Ridge College issued the following announcement on July 22.
Crowley's Ridge women's basketball continues their quest for a repeat bid to the NAIA National Tournament by signing a pair of junior college transfers. Shawnee (Ill.) Community College's Tishawna Daley joins ASU-Midsouth's Jamerria Johnson in the CRC frontcourt.
Tishawna Daley, a 6-0 junior, played two seasons at Shawnee starting in all 19 games for the Lady Saints in the 2020-21 season. The Coral Springs, Florida native ranked in the NJCAA's top 50 in two rebounding categories by averaging 4.8 offensive rebounds per game (19th) and 9.1 total boards per game (46th). "I am extremely excited to welcome Tishawna to the Lady Pioneer family," said CRC head coach Brad Phillips. "Tishawna brings size and rebounding that we need."
