Crowley's Ridge College issued the following announcement on July 17.
As Crowley’s Ridge College looks forward to the Fall 2021 semester, we are excited to welcome back all of our faculty, staff, and students for a great year on our beautiful campus.
CRC takes the health and safety of our Pioneer family, campus guests, and our community seriously. From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Crowley’s Ridge College has followed all mandates from the state of Arkansas and guidelines from health professionals, and will continue to do so. Other practices that the College will continue from 2020 include healthy sanitation practices across all campus facilities, contact tracing protocol, Zoom classes and other services for those in quarantine, touchless hand sanitizer and soap dispensers in every building, and masks are still available in several locations.
Crowley’s Ridge College is thankful for the wide availability of the COVID-19 vaccine. As students gear up to return to campus in August, CRC will encourage all students, faculty, and staff to get fully vaccinated. Vaccination will not be a mandatory requirement to attend Crowley’s Ridge College; however, we will continue to encourage the vaccine. The CRC contact tracer will track the rise in percentages as more students and employees become vaccinated.
In addition to the response above, the CRC contact tracer has joined with St. Bernard’s Health Alliance to begin a healthy living initiatives program for all employees and students. The first event for the 2021-2022 school year will be a back to school health fair on campus with free health screenings, local vendors, and giveaways to encourage healthy lifestyles for our CRC family.
