Responsible for managing and developing vision for eight-person pastoral care department, coordinating activities of pastoral care associates to ensure regular visiting of all patients, working collaboratively with priest chaplain, routinely assigning and responsibly directing staff, coordinating activities with hospital department directors and counseling as necessary using independent judgment; must be member of the Catholic Church, have one year clinical pastoral education or equivalent, degree in theology, ethics or related field, have completion of Diocese of Little Rock safe environment training, code of conduct for church personnel acknowledgement; clinical pastoral education and degree from Catholic institution, two-three years experience in hospital pastoral care, proven managerial and organizational skills, and being bilingual preferred; appointment subject to approval of bishop of Little Rock
