Rep. Rick Crawford, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 1st district since 2011, shared updates on his recent activities and legislative actions through a series of posts on September 19, 2025.
On September 19, Rep. Crawford highlighted an event supporting military personnel: “Yesterday, my staff and I had the privilege to put together care packages for our brave servicemembers out in the field. Thank you @The_USO for hosting such a special event https://t.co/mrBAGtoSwD”.
Later that day, he addressed legislative efforts to avoid a government shutdown: “Today, I voted in favor of the @HouseGOP CR to keep our government running beyond Sept. 30th. This plan prevents a harmful shutdown, prioritizes fiscal responsibility, and serves the American people. I look forward to seeing my colleagues in the Senate pass this legislation so” (September 19).
In another post from September 19, Rep. Crawford recognized a leadership appointment at the National Counterintelligence and Security Center: “Congratulations to Director Street on his confirmation as NCSC Director. With his U.S. Army background, he brings the skills necessary to usher NCSC into a new era. Rick Crawford has represented Arkansas’s 1st District since replacing Marion Berry in Congress in 2011 and currently resides in Jonesboro after being born at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida in 1966. He graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
