Rep. Rick Crawford, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 1st district since 2011, recently posted several updates on his social media regarding healthcare legislation and federal aid deadlines.

On December 18, 2025, Crawford announced his support for new healthcare measures in the House of Representatives, stating: “Tonight, I voted to lower the cost of health care for Americans, increase access, and expand choices for Americans who have been crushed under the drastically flawed and unaffordable ACA. House Republicans are taking steps to increase transparency and lower costs for all” (December 18, 2025).

Later that day, he clarified an upcoming deadline in a brief post: “To clarify: the deadline is THIS FRIDAY at 4PM CT/ 5PM ET. https://t.co/eHvDItjojF” (December 18, 2025).

The following day, Crawford addressed Arkansas farmers specifically about federal emergency aid: “Arkansas farmers, the deadline is this Friday at 4 PM CST for federal emergency aid! Go to your local FSA office ASAP to apply and get the support you need. Don’t wait. https://t.co/zT51Ge6CYQ #Farmers” (December 18, 2025).

Crawford has served as Arkansas’s representative in Congress since replacing Marion Berry in 2011. He was born in Homestead Air Force Base, Florida in 1966 and currently resides in Jonesboro. Crawford graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
