Rep. Rick Crawford, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 1st District since 2011, recently shared his insights on several issues through social media posts. Crawford, born in Homestead Air Force Base, Florida, and a graduate of Arkansas State University, took to Twitter to discuss topics ranging from international relations to agricultural security.
On July 7, 2025, Rep. Crawford tweeted about his appearance on @GowdyAmerica. He discussed “the latest on Russia, Iran,” and the efforts of the @HouseIntel Committee to address “deep-seated analytic integrity issues throughout the Intelligence Community.”
The following day, July 8, 2025, he tweeted regarding his role in the FY24 Intel Authorization Act. He stated that he “championed an authorization for a counterintelligence office dedicated to supporting the @USDA” against threats to U.S. agriculture. However, he expressed disappointment as “the Biden admin refused to implement this law.”
Later that same day, Crawford extended his gratitude towards Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders via a tweet, thanking her for being “a leader in protecting farms and farmers in Arkansas and across the nation from malign foreign actors.”
Rick Crawford’s contributions have been significant since replacing Marion Berry in Congress in 2011. At age 57, he continues to reside in Jonesboro while actively engaging with national security and agricultural policy issues.
