Rep. Rick Crawford, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 1st district since 2011, recently posted several statements on social media regarding national security and the release of a key intelligence report.
On July 22, 2025, Crawford congratulated a colleague in Congress: “Congratulations @RepGarbarino! I look forward to working closely with you on securing our homeland “.
The following day, he addressed the declassification of a significant congressional report: “NEWS: Today, @DNIGabbard declassified the 2017 HPSCI Majority staff report, which is the FINAL nail in the coffin of the Russia hoax, which has perpetrated the greatest political fraud on the American people for over 8 years and undermined President Trump’s first term in office.”
In another post from July 23, Crawford wrote: “The Russia hoax will go down as one of the most troublesome events in U.S. history. A President of the United States was falsely accused, and a nation had to endure lies fabricated by rogue personnel within their own Intelligence Community. To this day, our country is more”.
Crawford’s remarks refer to longstanding controversies surrounding investigations into Russian interference in U.S. elections and their impact on former President Donald Trump’s administration. The referenced declassification pertains to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) staff report from 2017 that examined aspects of these investigations.
Born at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida in 1966 and currently residing in Jonesboro, Rick Crawford has been active in public service for over a decade after graduating from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
