Role and Responsibilities
This full-time position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the kennels, care and feeding of the animals, assisting control officers in logging animals into the shelter, assists the veterinarian in euthanasia and disposal of animals, and performing general maintenance of grounds keeping around kennels, such as mowing and weed-eating. This position will also oversee the work of inmates and other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior kennel experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license. Successful background check.
