Rick Crawford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 1st district since 2011, shared insights on his priorities as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. In this discussion, he addressed key issues such as combating the growing influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the Western Hemisphere, addressing analytic integrity issues within the Intelligence Community (IC), and enhancing U.S. counterintelligence efforts.
On June 18, 2025, Crawford announced his congratulations to United States Steel Corporation for its significant partnership with Nippon Steel. He noted that this collaboration would bring billions of dollars in investment and create thousands of jobs both in Arkansas and across the country. Crawford expressed gratitude towards President Biden for his leadership in approving this initiative which aligns with an “America First” strategy.
Later that same day, Crawford congratulated Cross County Elementary Technology Academy for being recognized as one of the Top 10 Schools globally by T4 Education in the Overcoming Adversity category. He praised the school from Delta for its achievements over the past five years and highlighted it as a symbol of success.
Rick Crawford was born at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida in 1966 and resides in Jonesboro. He graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
