Cornerstone United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.

On the longest night of the year, Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 PM, you’re invited to a special time of rest and worship. Our Hope & Healing Holiday Service is for people who may still be experiencing grief, anxiety or loss and aren’t quite ready to sing “Joy to the World.” Pastor Jonathan and Pastor Dan (Kitchen Street Baptist) will lead the service along with moments of prayer, music and reflection. #AllAreWelcome regardless of your faith affiliation.
