Cleveland County – AR issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.

Craighead County Highway Department will close CR 963 on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 8 am for approximately 2-3 days, or until work is finished depending on weather.

CR 963 will be closed from CR 938 to CR 936. The road will be closed so that the Highway Department can do some repairs under the bridge.

Detour signs will be posted to alert the public and motorists are asked to use caution in the area. Commuters should allow for additional travel time.

A notice for the road closure will be on www.craigheadcounty.org on the main page under the heading “Road/Bridge Closures”.
