CITY OF WEINER: Wet/Dry petition Update

CITY OF WEINER: Wet/Dry petition Update
0Comments

City of Weiner issued the following announcement on May 26.

Here is an update on the Wet/Dry petition.

We finally have a definite answer from the Secretary of State’s office regarding the correct date to file our petition in order for it to be on the ballet in November. We can not file it until July 11th so we have time to collect even more signatures. If you have not already done so, you can come by City Hall and sign it. Please be sure you are a registered voter in West Prairie Township. This includes ALL persons registered in Weiner.

Thanks to all those who have already signed and those who have helped get signatures.

Mayor Mike
