City of Jonesboro recently issued the following announcement.

Fisher Street Community in Action

Spring Cleanup 2022

Magnolia Road Baptist Church 911 Magnolia Road

Saturday, June 25 from 8:00am to 12:00pm

FSCIA will be coordinating with the City of Jonesboro to organize a clean-up for the portion of North Jonesboro between Belt and Thomas Green Road and North Church to Prescott Lane.

Items that can be brought:

-A Dumpster will be set up in the Church Parking Lot to bring your items.
– Clothes
-Furniture (chairs, beds, couches, mattresses, tables, tvs, computers, etc.)
-Appliances (dryers, washers, stoves, microwaves, water heater, etc.)
-Freezers, air conditioners, and refrigerators (with compressor and freon removed.)
-Bagged household trash
-Dry, empty paint cans.
-Tires (without rims.)

Items that cannot be brought:

-Hazmat items: oil, fluid, batteries, flammable or corrosive materials.
-Auto Parts: motors, transmissions, etc.
-Building and remodeling debris: lumber, concrete, drywall, carpet, bricks, and landscaping material.

Start sitting items out on the curb Thursday and Friday
