City of Jonesboro issued the following announcement on May 6.

A grand opening was held  for the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex located at 3702 Moore Road though further improvements will continue to be made. Lunch was provided to attendees as well as trap shooting demonstrations by Senior Squad 1 and Junior Squad 1 from Brookland Junior and Senior High Schools. Mayor Harold Copenhaver, Police Chief Rick Elliott, U.S. Representative Rick Crawford, and Grant Tomlin of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
