City of Brookland issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.

The Brookland Storm Shelter is located at 407 Holman (beside the Police Department). As long as the city has advanced warning and severe weather is moving towards the City of Brookland and will impact the Brookland community, the shelter will be opened

To prevent the spread of Covid-19, please bring a mask to wear.

Parking is available on the south side and behind the building. We understand that everyone is nervous during a severe weather event, but please be courteous and park so that the entrance is not blocked and others can utilize the parking area too.
