City of Brookland recently issued the following announcement.

City of Brookland will accept sealed bids for set up, repair, asphalt overlay on the following streets: West Stevens Street over lay 105,600 sq ft, repair and overlay 1 ½” compacted asphalt. School Street West HWY49, 91,420 sq ft, repair and overlay 1 ½” compacted asphalt, South Oak Street 30,500 sq ft, between Stevens St. and Brookland St repair and overlay 1 ½” compacted asphalt. Brady Lane 27,940 sq ft, set up and overlay 2” compacted asphalt. Keith Lane 11,220 sq ft, Nelda lane 27,940 sq ft, Manley Lane 11,660 sq ft, set up road and overlay 1 ½” compacted asphalt. Bids shall be submitted as a cost per street price for materials and installation. Sealed Bids will be accepted at Brookland City Hall until 2:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
