NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS for PUBLIC SERVICE APPLICATIONS

The City of Jonesboro Department of Grants and Community Development will accept proposals for the 2023 program year (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024) for funds provided by The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

Applicants must be a not-for-profit organization as established by the IRS. Proposals for Public Services programs are due no later than April 24, 2023, by 4:00 p.m. The major focus of Jonesboro’s CDBG program is to provide a suitable living environment, decent housing, social services, and economic opportunities in low-income areas, for low-to-moderate- income persons. Applications for Homeownership, Home Rehabilitation, Demolition and Sewer-Connection Assistance are available, and will be reviewed and selected by the CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee. Funds will then be awarded to qualified and selected projects.
